A little bit about me...
I got started in art at an early age. I drew before I could talk and haven't stopped since (both making art and talking - I can be a bit of a chatterbox!). I was fortunate to attend a high school that offered a generous curricula in the arts, where I focused on creative writing, drawing & painting, and ceramic arts. Later in college, I majored in Studio Arts with a major in Painting and a minor in Ceramic Art. I also studied Art History and Archaeology. I did all this for my first 4 years of college at the University of Missouri at Columbia, and at Boston University, then when I moved to Rochester NY, I entered the Rochester Institute of Technology and completed another 3 years with a BFA in Industrial Design. I followed this some years later, with graduate work and certification in Interactive Multimedia Development. Over the years I pursued a variety of creative careers, including architectural design, painting and illustration, art direction, mixed media art, interaction design, and my current passions: ceramic art and jewelry design.
